Welcome to Two Bridges Speech and Language! I have been working as a speech-language pathologist since 2002, and have worked with children with a variety of speech, language and feeding needs. I attended University of Washington where I received both my Bachelors and Masters in Speech-Language Pathology. In addition, I hold my National Certificate of Clinical Competence as well as my state licence in Speech-Language Pathology.
For the first fifteen years of my career, I worked at an amazing non-profit, neurodevelopmental therapy center. In this time, I learned so much from an amazing group of speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and special educators. I have also pursued continuing education in a variety of areas including oral motor and sensory feeding disorders, speech sound disorders, developmental apraxia of speech, Floortime, AAC, SOS approach to feeding, and early language development.
I love working with children, and celebrating their big and small successes--whether it be a new sound, new word, new food or new skill of any kind. I am so excited to have the opportunity to provide speech, language and/or feeding services to the kids in this community. I look forward to meeting you and your child! —Julie
